Support is provided on a best-effort basis by an independent developer. We try to respond as soon as reasonably possible. Privacy-related requests will be handled within 30 business days.

3. Sign In

How do I sign in to the app?

Our Day uses Sign in with Apple only — no separate username or password is needed. Make sure you are signed into iCloud on your device.

I switched devices — will my data be there?

Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID and your data will sync automatically from iCloud.

I deleted and reinstalled the app — is my data still there?

Yes. Your data is stored in iCloud, not on the device. Sign in with the same Apple ID to restore everything.


4. iCloud Sync

My data isn't syncing between devices — what should I do?

The app uses CloudKit (iCloud) for sync. Check that iCloud is enabled: Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Our Day. Make sure you have an internet connection. Sync may take a few minutes after changes.

The app shows an iCloud error — what should I do?

Make sure you are signed into an active iCloud account. Force-close the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, try: Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Sync This iPhone.


5. Data Import and Export

How do I export a backup?

Go to More → Export Data. You can download a full JSON file of all your wedding data.

How do I import or export guests as CSV?

CSV export and import are available from the guest list screen. CSV import lets you add guests from an existing spreadsheet in the supported format.

I deleted my account — are my exported files deleted too?

No. Deleting your account removes data from the app and iCloud, but does not affect files you have already exported and shared. Those files are entirely under your control — store them securely.


6. Account Deletion

How do I delete my account?

Go to More → Delete Account. This permanently deletes all your wedding data from the app and from iCloud. This action cannot be undone.

Is deletion immediate?

Deletion begins immediately on your device. Propagation to iCloud servers happens automatically and may take additional time depending on your internet connection. Exported files you have already shared are not affected.


7. WhatsApp Guest Invitations

Does the app send WhatsApp messages automatically?

No. When you choose to send an invitation to a guest, the app opens WhatsApp with a suggested pre-filled message for that one guest. You must press Send yourself inside WhatsApp. The app does not send any message without your action.

What happens to the guest's phone number when I send a WhatsApp invitation?

The phone number and message text are passed to WhatsApp / Meta as part of opening the wa.me link — the same as any standard WhatsApp link. They do not pass through any developer server and we have no access to them.

What does "invitation sent" mean on a guest?

It is a planning flag only — it helps you track which guests have been contacted. It is stored privately in your iCloud data and can be changed manually at any time. It is not a delivery confirmation.

WhatsApp options don't appear for a guest — why?

WhatsApp invitations require an Israeli phone number in a supported format (+972 / 05x). Make sure the guest's phone number is entered in Israeli format.


8. Partner Sharing

Can I share the wedding with my partner?

Partner sharing is not available in version 1.0. It is planned for a future update. We will announce when it becomes available.


9. Privacy

Is my data safe?

Yes. All your wedding data is stored in your private iCloud database only. The developer has no access to your content — guest names, vendor details, photos, and budget data are stored in your private cloud only.

Does the app collect analytics or usage data?

No. In the current version (v1.0), the app does not collect usage metrics, analytics, or any performance data. There are no advertising SDKs and no behavioral tracking.

How do I submit a data access, correction, or deletion request?

Email us at guyal253@gmail.com. Privacy-related requests will be handled within 30 business days. You can also delete all your data directly from the app via More → Delete Account.

10. Support Limitations

Support is provided by an independent developer on a best-effort basis. There is no guarantee of a specific response time, resolution of every issue, or continuous availability. General inquiries are handled as soon as possible; privacy-related requests are handled within 30 business days.
