Your privacy matters to us. Your wedding data is stored only in your private Apple iCloud database and is not accessible to the developer. This document explains exactly what data is stored, how it is used, and what your rights are.

1. Who We Are

Our Day (היום שלנו) is a wedding planning app for iOS, developed by an independent developer. The app helps engaged couples manage guests, seating, vendors, budget, timeline, tasks, notes, and photos. Contact: support@ourday.co.il

2. Information Stored in the App

The app stores only information that you choose to enter:

In the current version, the app does not collect usage metrics, analytics data, or any performance telemetry. If any such data is collected in a future version, this policy will be updated before that happens.

3. How Information Is Used

Your personal information is used solely to provide the service:

We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not collect information about your guests outside the app.

4. Sign in with Apple

Our Day uses Sign in with Apple exclusively — no separate username or password is required. Apple provides the app with your name and email (which may be a private relay address if you chose that option). These details are stored in your private iCloud account.

We do not store passwords. The app cannot access your Apple account.

5. iCloud and CloudKit

All your wedding data is stored in your iCloud Private Database — a private database associated with your iCloud account only. Apple protects this data with encryption in transit and at rest.

We have no access to your private wedding content. Guest names, vendor details, photos, budget data, and any information you enter are stored in your private cloud only and are not accessible to the developer.

Sync depends on iCloud service availability. If iCloud is temporarily unavailable, the app continues to work with locally stored data.

6. Contacts

The app lets you add a guest by selecting them from your contacts. To do this, it uses the iOS system contacts picker — a system-provided UI that runs in a separate process and does not give the app access to your full contacts list.

The app receives only the specific details you select (name, phone, email) for the chosen contact. This information is stored in your private iCloud database only.

7. Photos

Photos you upload to the app are stored in your private iCloud database. The app uses the iOS photo picker (PHPickerViewController), which does not require access to your entire photo library.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use any photo you add to the app. Photos of other people are uploaded at your discretion and stored only in your private iCloud.

8. WhatsApp Guest Invitations

The app includes an optional feature to send a WhatsApp invitation to a guest. When you use this feature:

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to contact guests using the phone numbers you have entered, and for the content of any messages you send.

9. Local Notifications

The app may send local notifications for reminders such as task due dates, vendor payment deadlines, RSVP deadlines, and timeline events. Notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — they are not routed through any external server.

You can manage notification permissions at any time in your iPhone Settings.

10. Partner Sharing

Partner sharing is not available in the current version. Future versions may include optional partner collaboration via Apple's CloudKit Sharing. When this feature becomes available, this privacy policy will be updated before launch to describe how sharing works and what data is shared.

11. Data Export

The app provides two export options:

Files you export are transferred entirely to your control. You are responsible for storing and sharing exported files securely. Exported files are not deleted when you delete your account — they remain wherever you have saved or shared them.

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all wedding data from inside the app: More → Delete Account.

13. Your Responsibility for Guest Data

When you enter information about your wedding guests (names, phone numbers, dietary restrictions, etc.), you are the controller of that data and are responsible for how it is used.

14. Usage Analytics and Tracking

In the current version, no usage metrics, analytics, or performance data are collected. There are no advertising SDKs, no behavioral tracking, no cookies, and no data sharing with analytics providers.

If any analytics are added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that happens.

15. Children's Privacy

Our Day is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you become aware of such use, please contact us so we can address it.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the app on first launch after the update. Continued use of the app after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
